Multi-circuit monitoring device and multi-user/multi-tenant submetering

The BFM112/BFM212 series multi-circuit monitoring devices are mainly used in electric energy metering systems/power monitoring systems/energy efficiency management systems for multiple feeder circuits. They centrally measure and display bus voltage in the circuit, current, power, and electric energy of multiple outgoing circuits, and exchange data with monitoring systems or host computers via RS485 communication ports. They can also centrally monitor the switch status of each circuit (BFM212), greatly facilitating power automation and energy management. One multi-circuit monitoring device can monitor 4 three-phase circuits or 12 single-phase circuits, greatly simplifying system wiring, installation, and commissioning, saving user investment and reducing system costs. The BFM112/BFM212 series multi-circuit monitoring devices feature high accuracy, good stability, strong practicality, powerful functions, compact size, easy installation (using DIN35mm rail mounting), and excellent EMC characteristics.

    Functional Features

    BFM112

    ■ Measures and displays bus voltage, multi-circuit current, power and other electrical parameters in single-phase or three-phase networks;

    ■ Multi-circuit metering of forward and reverse active and reactive electric energy;

    ■ For currents below 300A, each phase primary current passes directly through the matching transformer without needing an additional current transformer (saving space and cost); the matching transformer is integrated, with secondary connected and transmitted via a standard 6-core network cable port, saving installation time;

    ■ For current circuits above 300A, external measurement CTs with 5A or 1A secondary current can be used; the secondary line of the external CT must pass through the matching transformer again;

    ■ For circuits above 300A, it is recommended to use the BFM212 series, which has a built-in 5A miniature secondary current transformer;

    ■ Optional open-type transformers for easy retrofit;

    ■ Standard with one RS-485 communication interface, MODBUS-RTU protocol.

    ■ LCD Chinese display, usable for parameter viewing and setting;

    ■ Compact size, 35mm standard rail mounting method.

    ■ Measures and displays bus voltage, multi-circuit current, power and other electrical parameters in single-phase or three-phase networks;

    ■ Multi-circuit metering of forward and reverse active and reactive electric energy separately;

    ■ Can use ordinary open/closed 5A/1A measurement CTs. BFM212 has a built-in small secondary CT rated at 5A;

    ■ Optional 4-channel switch input monitoring and 1-channel relay output function;

    ■ Standard with 2 RS485 communication interfaces, MODBUS-RTU protocol;

    ■ LCD Chinese display, usable for parameter viewing and setting;

    ■ Compact size, 35mm standard rail mounting method.
