Features
1) Protection
The protection settings and pickup/dropout of various protection functions can be independently set, and the pickup/dropout status and action signals of each protection can be displayed.
2) Measurement and Control
Measured electrical parameters include:
● Current (Ia, Ib, Ic)
● Voltage (Ua, Ub, Uc, Uab, Ubc, Uca)
● Frequency (F)
● Active power (P), reactive power (Q), power factor (PF)
● Active energy (Pwh, Qwh), reactive energy (APh, AQh)
— Current circuits support two-phase two-element and three-phase two-element wiring methods;
— Voltage circuits support star (Y/Y) and delta (V/V) wiring methods. According to CT, PT ratios and wiring methods, primary and secondary values are automatically calculated;
— Accuracy correction of each measurement value is implemented through software without hardware changes.
3) Monitoring
ISPR8 has comprehensive self-check capabilities and will automatically issue alarm signals if device operation abnormalities are detected. Self-check includes device parameters, settings, power input, A/D channels, clock chip, memory chip, etc.
ISPR8 has 10 switch status monitoring channels, capable of monitoring circuit breaker position, truck working position, grounding switch position, and various non-electrical signals.
ISPR8 can monitor system operating conditions online and automatically issue alarm signals upon detecting abnormalities. Online monitoring includes trip circuit disconnection, CT disconnection, PT disconnection.
4) Control
ISPR8 supports local and remote control of circuit breakers. Local/remote control status can be controlled via external switch inputs. Equipped with a three-phase operation box for circuit breakers, it features hardware anti-trip, hold, and interlock functions suitable for both AC and DC, unaffected by the magnitude of trip/close operation current, suitable for various circuit breaker interfaces.
5) Event Recording
ISPR8 can record 100 timestamped event records, documenting various system operation-related events such as protection actions, alarms, switch position changes, etc. The device automatically records the effective value of fault quantities at the action time, automatically identifies fault type and phase, with a time resolution of 1ms, and retains data during power loss, providing a basis for fault analysis.
6) Human-Machine Interface
ISPR8 uses a high-resolution graphic LCD display (resolution 160×160), menu-driven design, fully Chinese display.
7) Communication
The device has one RS485 serial port for communication with automation systems, used for integration with comprehensive automation systems.
