Temperature Rise Explosion-Proof System

The SATEC SPR63 series switchgear temperature rise warning arc flash explosion-proof system monitors in real-time the temperature at connections inside the switchgear, such as busbars, circuit breaker moving and static contacts, and cable heads. When the temperature at any connection exceeds the set value due to heating, the system issues a temperature alarm signal to effectively prevent switchgear temperature rise faults. Arc flash sensors are installed in the cable compartment, facing each connection point to detect arc flash signals. When an arc flash occurs, the fault source can be cut off within 7ms, minimizing the damage caused by the arc flash to the equipment. The entire system's protection logic can be programmed based on three criteria: "temperature", "overcurrent", and "arc flash". Within a set time, arc flash faults caused by normal heating aging or sudden reasons are cleared, fully realizing the switchgear temperature rise warning and arc flash explosion-proof function.

The shell is made of high-temperature resistant flame-retardant material and sealed with insulating material. It features small size and light weight.

    Technical Features

    LoRa wireless communication

LoRa (Long Range Radio) is characterized by achieving longer transmission distances than other wireless methods under the same power consumption, unifying low power consumption and long distance. Under the same power, it extends the traditional RF communication distance by 3-5 times. Advantages of LoRa wireless transmission technology: strong transmission signal with long distance (15km unobstructed in open areas), strong penetration (16 meters diameter under strong obstruction).

Features of Passive Wireless Temperature Sensors

    ■ Self-inductive power supply, maintenance-free for 10 years

    ■ Device thickness only 9.5mm, easy installation with no location restrictions

    ■ Sensor directly installed on moving contacts to ensure accurate measurement values

    ■ Sensor uses LoRa IoT transmission technology, improving device transmission performance

    ■ Device is lightweight and thin, weighing only 30g, with high protection level (IP67), suitable for various operating environments
